The SODAX swap widget builder is live: a hosted swap app that brings swaps across 20+ blockchain networks into any website with a single iframe.
It joins the SODAX SDK and Swaps API as the lightest way to plug into SODAX execution and liquidity, built for apps that need a swap without becoming a DeFi app.
Teams choose which networks and assets the widget offers, style it to match their product, and copy the embed code from a visual builder at widget.sodax.com.
Plenty of apps need a swap without being a committed DeFi app. Say a game that runs on its own token, an NFT project that prices mints in one asset, or a community wants new members holding the ecosystem token from day one. In each case a user has to get from what they hold to what the app needs, and the team behind it doesn’t always want to send their community off-site to get what they need.
The SODAX swap widget is for them. It’s a complete swap app, hosted by SODAX, that drops into your page with one iframe. It quotes the trade, connects the user’s wallet, handles approvals and signing, and tracks the swap until it settles across blockchain networks.
That cross-network reach comes from the SODAX system underneath. One embed gives your users access to 20+ networks, with liquidity already attached.
Three ways to plug into SODAX
SODAX is a non-custodial execution and liquidity system. It coordinates swaps and other financial actions across 20+ networks, EVM and non-EVM, so a builder integrates once and reaches all of them. There are now three ways in. The right one depends on how much of the experience you want to own.
The original TypeScript SDK is for apps that want SODAX inside their own interface, with wallet providers and React tooling ready to use. You design every screen and control every step, and the SDK’s modules go beyond swaps into lending, borrowing and staking. The heavyweight integration where deep financial features are your product.
The REST API works with anything that speaks HTTP: Python services, Go bots, Rust backends, exchanges and custodial flows. You generate your API key to request a quote, build an unsigned transaction, sign it on your own infrastructure, submit it and check back for the result. Perfect when you want a light touchpoint to deliver specific quotes.
The Swap Widget needs no package, no backend and no code beyond the embed. Users sign with their own wallet inside the widget, and SODAX maintains the app, so your team ships a swap and gets back to its roadmap.
Pick the widget when a swap supports your product rather than defines it. If you outgrow it later, the SDK and API run on the same system, with the same networks and assets.
Make it yours
You configure every widget from the SODAX system before it reaches your page.
Networks and assets: choose which networks and assets appear on each side of the swap, from anything SODAX has whitelisted.
Fixed corridors: lock the source or destination to build a single-purpose flow, such as a deposit-only widget.
Appearance: set a light, dark or auto theme, your own accent, button, surface and text colors, and the corner radius, font and density.
Defaults: prefill the starting pair, amount and slippage, for a user will accept before they swap.
The widget builder shows a live preview as you change each setting. When it looks right, copy the generated HTML or React code, or a ready-made prompt for your coding agent, and paste it into your frontend.
The swap widget is live now. Configure yours at widget.sodax.com, and find the full setup guide at docs.sodax.com.
